The playoffs are only 8 days away edition.

The Pacers locked up home-court in the 1st round and all-but-eliminated the Bucks from a spot with their victory; Minnesota (a team with a bright future behind Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio, both out with injuries) defeated the Pistons (a team—possibly on the rise—with Rodney Stuckey and Greg Monroe) in Detroit; Ben Gordon scored 27 points and the New Orleans Hornets defeated a visiting Rockets team in a fight for their lives for a spot out west; Miami beat Chicago without Derrick Rose (this should probably be included in every loss Chicago suffers without their pg) and things got chippy in anticipation of their possible match-up in this year’s Eastern Conference Finals (witness the bandage over Luol Deng’s eye); Jared Dudley scored 18 points for Phoenix and they kept their playoff hopes alive by defeating the Clippers.
