The NBA Dribbled Out

Some readers accuse me of only focusing on the larger market teams; think NY (where I live), Boston, LA, Chicago, Miami and Dallas. But I do focus on smaller market teams, like OKC, if they’re good. I don’t particularly enjoy reading or writing about teams that are awful, but I can understand why diehard fans would appreciate this. I wanted more writing and analysis of the Knicks throughout the 90’s when they were terrible and before the Internet produced sites like Seth’s SB Nation blog Posting and Toasting—where I can basically get an aggregated form of all Knicks news written in mid-cult, jocular prose. 

Anyway, this was a roundabout way of introducing a couple video introductions for New New Orleans Hornets players Anthony Davis and Austin Rivers.

I’m sure some of you are curious about what to expect from the revamped NOR team. Don’t forget Eric Gordon signed an extension with NOR after Dell Demps matched the Suns’ offer sheet for the injury-prone off-guard. This could be a really good team, and New Orleans is an amazing place,* so I hope they turn the franchise around.

*I have spent a lonely (and frightening) night and morning in a NOR jail, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt, the NOPD is currupt as fuck; that doesn’t change how amazing the city is, but you should really avoid the police or jail at all costs everywhere, most especially in New Orleans.
