The NBA Dribbled Out
Classy move by the Dallas Mavericks. Every Mavericks player greeted Kevin McHale before their matchup against the Rockets. If you didn’t know, McHale had been taking a leave of absence from his coaching duties in Houston for most of this season after the untimely death of his daughter earlier this year; Kelvin Sampson had been coaching the Rockets in the interim.  Much love to McHale during this horrific time for him and his family (no parent should have to bury their children). Hopefully McHale’s family sees a brighter future on the horizon, but nothing can replace the loss of a child. Also, much love to the Mavericks for showing him the class and respect he deserves during this terrible time. We’re all rooting for you Kevin.  If you’re sometimes wondering how anyone can love the NBA as much as I do, this is a large reason why. It got a little dusty here when I watched this earlier this morning.
