The NBA Dribbled Out

Lost amid all the Melo-KG jawing was a big performance by Paul Pierce last night. With Rondo suspended after bumping a ref (again), Pierce scored 23 points on 10/18 shooting (3/9 from beyond the arc), including a big 20-foot jumper—right in front of Spike—to give the Celtics a 6 point lead with 45 seconds remainig. After his last bucket, he blew a kiss to the Garden and pissed everyone off. 

The Celtics and Knicks do not like one another very much, and I couldn’t be happier about this.
