The NBA Dribbled Out

The “X-Man” Xavier McDaniel made a career with the first consonant of his first name. Sure, he had four straight seasons averaging over 20 ppg between ‘86-‘90 for the Seattle Supersonices (RIP), but I’ll always remember him for the anecdote he tells in the Larry Bird: A Basketball Legend VHS I watched as a kid until it broke.
I’m paraphrasing, but he basically says:

Larry comes up to me after Boston comes back from their timeout, and he tells me: ‘You see this spot we’re standing on? I’m gonna hit the game winning shot right here in your face.’ Then he hit the game-winning shot in about that spot. I was just like: ‘Damn!’
